Ben Coumerilh is co-founder of Goodland Tech, a workplace development company that has designed technical curricula with Northwest Kansas Technical College and developed a direct employment pipeline for graduates to work for leading companies that are focused on emerging technologies. Prior to founding Goodland Tech, Ben served as CIO of Northwest Kansas Technical College and then worked with USD 352, where he partnered with Apple to implement the nation’s first one-to-one iPad solution in local public schools.  Throughout his career, Ben has found ways to use technology to empower local and rural communities–and to develop long-term opportunities for people who want to change the world while remaining in their hometowns.

Goodland Tech, CEO

As the Managing Principal and General Counsel of Fraxional, Ltd., a firm specializing in providing fractional c-suite services, Sky is a seasoned consultant, attorney, and entrepreneur focused on business turnarounds and process improvement.  With a background heavily vested in finance and startups, he has developed proprietary improvement processes and data analytics systems, conducted forensic reviews, and created software to automate business functions.  Sky excels at using VBA to create data collection systems, develop automated tools, and generate dashboards to enhance management capabilities.  For turnaround clients, Sky has developed a three-phase system that he refers to as Stabilize, Standardize, and Scale.

A native of Goodland, KS, Sky has returned from Columbus, Ohio to contract with Goodland Tech as their interim CEO.

Sky holds a BBA in Finance with a minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University, a Juris Doctorate specializing in transactional law from Washburn University School of Law, and a Masters of Business Operational Excellence along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.  He also completed his Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt coursework at Villanova University.

In addition to his work with Fraxional, Ltd., Sky is a Lecturer at The Ohio State University College of Engineering, where he leads the capstone course for the Masters of Engineering Management program.
