Christina Eck

Maize Public Schools, K-4 STEAM Teacher

Christina Eck is a STEAM teacher in the Maize School District, where she serves students in grades kindergarten through fourth grade at Pray-Woodman Elementary School. After teaching in the general education classroom, she stepped out to become one of her district’s first STEAM teachers, developing and implementing a research-based curriculum that fuels young minds with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. After getting her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, she went on to get dual masters degrees in Elementary STEM and Educational Administration. Beyond the classroom, she shared insights as a panelist at the Wichita Public Library’s Women in Technology event and hosted esteemed organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers.
